Cuddles by Viki – Terms & Conditions
Effective from 15 November 2025
These Terms and Conditions form the legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between the Client (“You”) and Cuddles by Viki (Viktoria Csesznak) (“the Practitioner”). By booking and attending a session through www.cuddlesbyviki.co.uk, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Nature of Service
1.1. Cuddles by Viki provides professional, platonic cuddle therapy services, designed to promote relaxation, comfort, and emotional wellbeing.
1.2. Sessions are strictly non-sexual. Any attempt to engage in sexual activity, inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or breach of boundaries will result in the immediate termination of the session without refund and may lead to permanent refusal of future services.
1.3. All clients must be 18 years or older. Proof of age may be requested at the Practitioner’s discretion.
2. Booking & Consultation
2.1. All bookings must be made through the official booking form on www.cuddlesbyviki.co.uk.
2.2. A consultation may be required for first-time clients to ensure suitability and safety for both client and practitioner.
2.3. Sessions are available in 60, 90, or 120-minute blocks and should be booked in advance.
2.4. Sessions are confirmed only after full payment has been successfully completed through the secure booking system.
3. Payment
3.1. All sessions must be paid in full through the secure payment system on the final page of the booking form.
3.2. All sensitive payment information is handled by trusted third-party vendors (Stripe, PayPal, Square).
3.3. Accepted payment methods: Stripe, PayPal, and Square.
3.4. Failure to complete payment will result in the session not being confirmed.
3.5. Refund processing: Where a refund is due under these Terms, it will be processed manually. Refunds may take 5–7 business days depending on the payment vendor and your bank or card provider.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
4.1. Rescheduling: You may reschedule an appointment at no cost, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
4.2. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee based on session length:
• 60 minutes – £20
• 90 minutes – £30
• 120 minutes – £40
The remainder of the session fee will be refunded in accordance with clause 3.5.
4.3. A client may cancel a session by phone or email. When more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a full refund will be issued in accordance with clause 3.5.
4.4. No-shows will incur the same charge (£20/£30/£40). The remaining balance will be refunded in accordance with clause 3.5. Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
4.5. The Practitioner may cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or the option to transfer the booking.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1. All sessions take place in the Practitioner’s studio unless otherwise agreed.
5.2. Clients must arrive freshly showered and dressed in clean, comfortable clothing.
5.3. Good personal hygiene is required prior to every session.
5.4. If hygiene or behaviour standards are not met, the Practitioner reserves the right to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation fees may apply.
6. Consent & Boundaries
6.1. All touch is mutually consensual and may be withdrawn at any time.
6.2. Either party may end the session immediately if boundaries are violated or consent is withdrawn.
6.3. The Client must respect the Practitioner’s personal and professional boundaries at all times.
7. Confidentiality
7.1. All client information is handled as confidential, in line with the Privacy Policy and the Data Consent Agreement.
7.2. Confidentiality may only be breached where legally required, such as risk of harm, safeguarding concerns, or court orders.
8. Liability & Disclaimer
8.1. Cuddle therapy is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
8.2. The Practitioner makes no guarantee of outcomes and is not liable for physical, emotional, or psychological injury arising from participation.
8.3. Liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the relevant session.
9. Complaints
9.1. Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days to info@cuddlesbyviki.co.uk.
9.2. The Practitioner will aim to resolve complaints professionally and in good faith.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, Scotland, and the wider United Kingdom.
10.2. Disputes will fall under the appropriate UK jurisdiction based on either party’s location.
